Scott Kim is a multi-faceted and eclectic individual that absorbs inspiration from random occurrences in everyday life.

 

Born in South Korea and spending the majority of his young adolescents in the sunny southwest of the U.S., the different lifestyles and cultures greatly influenced his perception of "what beauty is."

 

While growing up in a regimented and strict upbringing, the bright blue expanse of the open enchanted sky had an immediate impact. It was the beginning of an inner turmoil that became a prelude to "organized chaos."

 

Incorporating different elements of urban debauchery with sublime organic zeal found within nature, one can see the awkward juxtaposition this creates, but the orderly manner it is presented in is the beauty behind the "organized chaos."

 

With a background in Gemology and Jewelry Design, the brilliance, scintillation, and fire of different gemstones are used to create organic matter in which he presents his art forms.
